Mitre Peak doubles in the still water of Milford Sound, shot at blue hour so the whole sheet reads as one cold tonal field. Like the rest of the Chermayeff & Geismar series the photograph bleeds to every edge, and the only graphics are a Helvetica 'New Zealand' and the 'Pan Am's World' mark, both set in white so the captions sit inside the scene they name.
